With that being said. I can tell you with 110% assurance, the only fuctions I ever used were /who npc, /face, and /target. And now I have to sit and wait to see if my account will be banned.

So for those of you out there who think you're safe, living proof right here that you are wrong.

Even if you have been banned, we are not wanting to hear your sob stories, you knew the risk of downloading the program.

Did you hear me whine? sob? carry on?

Amazing to me how some peole automatically troll/flame (get a life).

I simply posted it as proof/warning to those out there who think they cannot detect using those 3 simple commands.

Lol, read my original post. That's the only fuctions I ever used. MQ was just a tracking tool for me really. Never used it for anything else.

Well, they are checking old logs.

I got banned for a /report I did in August, which accidently included /who information, showing the extra details, and that I used Macroquest. So, its possible that happened -- email back and ask them for proof.

I accidently did a /report with MQ who output in it a couple of months ago and so far I havent been banned (fingers crossed). However if they do ban me I would expect some kind of proof to back up a ban.

I pay a 3 monthly subscription so if my account is banned with a couple of months left then I would expect some proof or at least a refund. Yeah I know I have been breaking the EULA and am morally in the wrong but if I am being deprived a service I have paid for then I am pretty sure some proof should be provided before it is legally taken away.

I havent actually used MQ since the OLDUI nerf and am sorta missing it when 2 boxing (A SoE approved practice) but other than that I am finding EQ is fun again without having to tinker with MQ scripts to make it fun.

If SoE were smart they would add some scripting support themselves to make 2 boxing easier since they fully support, and even encourage, it.

Bah..

I always telnet in and /filter macros none (or all, whichever turns them all off)

That way there is nothing in my logs from MQ ever..

Seems safer to me.

YKW-28983, this is your final warning. If you flame, troll, or generally get on my bad side you will be banned. No more warnings. I am tired of your constant trolling and flaming; it is not necessary, nor will it be tolerated.

Fippy, I was under the impression that when you did a /report, it just recorded the last 10 lines considering the person you reported? Does it also include yours as well?

As far as I am concerned, getting on Tux's bad side is fine. Trolling and flaming are not.

It doesn't record anything of the person you reported, it does however report a lot of information that shows on your screen, and some that doesn't.

AFAIK, /report sends the last chunk from your chat windows (not sure if it sends more). So if you have MQ messages in your chat windows and do a /report they will probably see them.

Again, I just go windowed mode and telnet in and turn off all mesages. Paranoia maybe, but...
