Simple Macro Request (I hope)!

Post by p01z0n » Sat Jan 25, 2003 4:36 am

Ok... Basically, I just was wondering if anyone could write a Macro that simply does this:

I'd have like 2500 gold, and sit by Lashun Novashine, and then load the Macro, wich hands him 2 gold over and over until i'm out of gold... then it camps me out :D

If the camp out part is too hard, I'd just like a Macro that hands Lashun Novashine in Qeynos 2 gold over and over until im out =D

Thanks in advance :D

btw- this shouldn't be breaking any rules... I'll be present at the computer, it'll just save me a finger or two ^-^

I'm still new to coding, so this is a really primitive script. I don't have access to EQ right now, so this might not even work at all, hehe. I couldn't log in and try it out! Nonetheless, here it is in all it's uh, splendor...

Before trying to run the script, make sure you're in trade range of Lashun...

Code: Select all

#include routines.mac

#event FactionHit "You gain experience!"

Sub Main
  /varset NumHits 0

  :loop
  /varset v1 $char(gold)
    /if v1 < 2
    {
      /beep
      /echo You've run out of gold! Total number of faction increases: $int(NumHits)
      /echo Camping.
      /if $char(state)==STAND
      {
        /sit
      }
      /camp
      /endmacro
    }

    /target Lashun
    /if $int($target(distance)) > 10
    {
      /echo You're too far from Lashun to initiate a trade!
      /echo Move closer and try again.
      /endmacro
    }

    /face
    /click left gold
    /hslider 2
    /click left target
    /click left npctrade give
    /goto :loop
/return

Sub Event_FactionHit
  /varadd NumHits 1
/return

Ok, I just copied and pasted that macro into a file i created named Lashun.mac...

Anyways, when i loaded up the Macro, I would almost instantly get this error:

Image

Wich would then camp me out (Unless I was already sitting, like the picture, wich is fine).

I had 2000 gold on me, and it still said you've ran out of gold! =\

Salutations,
fix on the above macro, note that you cannot run macros in the old ui...

Code: Select all

#include routines.mac

#event FactionHit "You gain experience!"

Sub Main
  /varset NumHits 0

  :loop
  /varset v1 $char(gold)
    /if n $v1<2 {
      /beep
      /echo You've run out of gold! Total number of faction increases: $int(NumHits)
      /echo Camping.
      /if $char(state)==STAND {
        /sit
      }
      /delay 20
      /camp
      /endmacro
    }

    /target Lashun
    /if n $int($target(distance))>10 {
      /echo You're too far from Lashun to initiate a trade!
      /echo Move closer and try again.
      /endmacro
    }

    /face
    /click left gold
    /hslider 2
    /click left target
    /delay 20
    /click left npctrade give
    /goto :loop
/return

Sub Event_FactionHit
  /varadd NumHits 1
/return
remember, I have no clue if this code works, just fixing all hte syntax errors

Also remember, he wanders (from the ramp by the saucer out to the road leading to Qeynos Hills), so hail him every once in a while to keep him in place.

If you get him out front, the newbies won't whine about you hogging him, (giving him 2 bone chips gives faction increases and he casts light heal on the giver).
