lol sorry i work in tech support :) the easiest answer is usually the right one.

I would think a PM to an admin or 2, maybe popping into the irc chat and seeing if someone can help you out might also work.

I don't use IRC but I'll pm dont_know_at_all and ieatacid (edit: and lax)

Why is it you need your original account? If you promote your new account to VIP, what's so important on the first one that you can't do on the second one? You said you're willing to donate again so just donate on the second account. Problem solved if you ask me.

This is the correct attitude to have for bannination. The devs/admins are busy trying to correct the structs and offsets of MQ2 caused by the new expansion and you're having a tantrum that they're not just going to stop what they're doing to fix a few flags on your account when you already stated you're willing to start over because you had over 100 posts on your old account.

Forgive me here for not being sympathetic to your cause. Also, you posted in the non-VIP area, there's no flame-proof here. I didn't flame you to begin with. Your attitude became indignant and flippant without reason.

Also, please don't PM me with stupid crap. You had a "problem", I offered a legitimate solution. I don't care what you DO with that information, it's not my business.

The devs are probably a little occupied given the current release. Just a thought you should cut them a little slack IMO

Man you're being an ass to people trying to help you. And yes ban a donator easily if you keep treating people like shit. You're acting like you're entitled to something because you donated well wake up call you're not and you wouldnt be the first donator banned.

Jeez dude ... there's a whole 13 hours between your first and last post. Have some patience ! The devs aren't sitting around waiting to jump to your attention.

Also, how can you PROVE you're the original xantan when the forgotten password didn't work. The email address is about the only tie the devs have back to identify you as the account owner.
