mq2 loading issue

Hello all just came back to play eq it has been about 2 years since i played last and i use to use macroquest all the time

so my issue today is
i have compliled the source files it didn't error out but not sure if its working

so i ran the macroquest2.exe file and it starts with no error
i load eq and i cant seem to remember how to load macroquest

if i do /load mq2 eq freezes for a min and clears my chat box so dont know if it erros out or not

if i do /plugin mq2map or any other plugin i get this is not a valid command see /help

any ideas of what i am doing wrong


i am running windows 7 32bit
