Im sure this has been asked before and all but how plausable is it that sony can monitor who uses MQ? I mean cant they see everything we type or are all the /macro commands and such client side only. I would have thought that anything typed would be possibly recorded.

I made a twink caster and I'm powerlvling the heck outta of him, im using MQ only to raise skill lvls and im even at my computer while it happens, im just watching T.V or something. So if a GM or someone approaches me I will be there to respond and such. But im looking at using it more and more now that I have discovered the convience of it.

Any comments are appreciated

Salutations,
just don't use it exclusively, overly visibly, OR say you use it, poof, I haven't had any bannings (and I've sworn out a few GMs  )

I wouldn't say it's perfectly safe since I've seen numerous accounts banned while using MQ. That doesn't mean MQ is going to get you banned though. Those accounts were being used for some ummm...questionable activities:) One however was stripped of all items and plats while doing nothing except idling in pok with MQ active. a GM sent me a /tell I was watching tv and had an afk flag up so did not reply. GM kicked me off, destroyed every item on my character and in bank (including no drop ntov and vex thal gear), then allowed me back on.
Earlier in the day I had been using MQ to automate tradeskills. My guess is either they detected MQ was active or they saw me using it earlier. When I didn't reply to a GM /tell it gave him a reason to act despite the fact that I was doing nothing at the time. Be sure you're at the keyboard and you shouldn't have a problem. Walk away for 5 mins and you risk having action taken against your account.
