Hey guys,
Been having this problem on both of my OS installs (Vista and XP 32). I can generally stay in world for about an hour before I get an EQ crash (Sometimes multiple if I am boxing). The message is the usual "eqgame.exe has stopped working", and then Runtime error after that message.

eip, the instruction pointer, is zero.
next time it happens, type in this command "dds esp L 100" in the windbg command window.

Unfortunately, it took me awhile to reproduce similar results.
This error seems to have an eip .

You crashed drawing a button. Are you using the default UI?
This is not an MQ crash as far as I can tell...

Would this same crash occur before character select?

It's doubtful. The UI before char select is different and does not use the routine you crashed in.

Yes, to being graphics related. Do you have any plugins not from this site? All these crashes are unrelated....

not sure if it was obvious or not, but do any of these crashes occur when mq isn't loaded? also, make sure you have latest graphics drivers.
I had a problem a while back with my graphics drivers (vista x64) where if I had a 1080p video running on one of my monitors, eq would crash on startup.

Well, I did some testing and it seems to still crash even without MQ2 loaded. It's also started to bsod. All kinds of fun stuff.

Find a copy of a bootable cd image of memtest86 and check your RAM.
