I was thinking of giving PvP a try but having never dabbled before has anybody got any tips on which server to go for and race/class combo that would work well.

Fironia Vie: Wood Elf / Rogue

Umm, L12, Firiona Vie is a special ruleset server (roleplaying preferred) but it's still blue. No PvP on Firiona.

Vallon Zek > all PvP servers!!!

Super PvP classes: Shadow knights, Necros, Bards.

I personally like my Shadow Knight but to each his own. My suggestion is to stick to the class you know and love. Hope this helps

well i have been playing pvp for a while and well shit if you need to know any thing ask me usually im on aim and such but dude rellos zek owns all. what is better then having a chance to loot that faggots fungi tunic or that druids eboots? hella fun trust me better then seeing full twinks on vellon (i think thats is) that go out killing people who have no chance of loosing gear kinda sad, but rellos is fun cause you can loot gear.


class i would say, matters are you talking you want to pk or lvl, prolly pk so ill let ya know. rogues > all class low lvls >14 that is, cause no class's got see invis you can evade most people and damn if you work on your bs your a deadly man. i personaly got a lvl 24 rogue and 16 rogue and i rarly die with low resist.

wizzies.... no word needed get mana/int items and kei and you will kill just about any one.... (i love my lvl 9 who is binded i nexus)

mages.... i got a lvl 36 they are hmm fun to pk but hard cause you got to choose your lvls. because if u dont know mages have to use nukes you get at some lvls for 10 lvls before you get better ones, but there pets are good to have on combate even tho there damage is reduced. but i pk prolly 5k a week with my mage and i dont play him that often

necros.... they will get killed all the time but they dont go alone, unless you are dumb. i have never got killed by a necro before i killed him.

sk's lol deadly fucks but in my opinion not the best.

bards.... SUCK if u got any kind of snare/root, because they cant dot you to hell and rarly they get any gear cause they kill so slow.

rangers.... annoy me but good cause of the snare/root and sow at 30. so-so they are

enchs- very fun cause you annoy the hell out of people with mez and charming mobs that are high lvl (emp. crush in cb .. /laugh)

Beast lord.... wow one word they hurt they sick pets and run around, there pets do a great deal of there damage and including they got blind!?! it sucks i lost a 55hp ring from one of them but thats it.


warriors- they just suck later on, no spells no healing, sigh.

i just went through the class's in my head and how i have exp them in eq, i play a pally i RARLY die, i have maybe died once to a pker and i killed my self with a train. but people say pallys suck at pvp really they dont once they are 30+.

well make fun of my grammer and shit i typed this as fast as i can and stuff lol im in a hurry off to go to the movies. later and enjoy

They actually pretty much hit all the time on pvp and, well shit they dont do any damage, lvl 31 sk does 240ish i think to me? sorta weak cause by the time im down to one bub of hp (at 34 thats like 350-400hp) im rooting/healing already and with other class they have plenty of time to bag, but HT is nice but not the best i perfer lay hands over that any day

I think we need to start a guild on a racial alliance PVP server....

Seriously, this would be badass....especially if we get some nice folks to trade us pp on our servers for pp on the pvp server...

Well, this and I just think pvp would be cool if you had friends. :)
