Q's about macros

Post by nuceman » Sun Dec 08, 2002 8:46 pm

Howdy,

I've been using MQ for a good while but all I've really used it for is to track npc's, see through anonymous people, experience %, and # of mana. (I've kind of stayed away from macros)

I tried using one of the power macros for trade skills lately and It didn't seem to be working for me. So I just wanted to ask a few questions about
macros.

1. What is the cheese macro and how do you use it? (Must be something big, theres 18 pages of posts)
2. Are alot of the tradeskill/buy&sell macros not functional in the new ui?
3. Did I miss something about a delay Verant added for tradeskills

I'm not the biggest forum reader so please don't yell at me :D

Let's look at your post before we answer your questions. First, it was nicely laid out, good organization, good question formatting.

The key component to your question comes at the very bottom of your post....
I'm not the biggest forum reader so please don't yell at me
You acknowledged that there are 18 pages of cheese.mac posts. Read them. All. Then come back with anything you don't get. :) Every single question you asked is answered within about the first 5 pages of that thread.

Here's the quick and dirty cuz I don't feel like studying for my finals.

Answers, in order:
1.cheese.mac, as the name implies, power makes cheese for you. It's best if you're already a master baker and you have good faction and/or charisma, yadda yadda yadda. Cheese used to be profitable, not so much anymore. It'll make you about 100pp an hour at most if you're a master baker w/ the previously mentioned good charisma. :) Some people have tweaked the script to get higher results, and they can feel free to pm me their version. :)
2. This answer lives in the readme, just about every tradeskill thread, and the hunter thread as well. /click DOES NOT WORK (well) in the new UI. Therefore, no...since it can't click it can't do the work for ya. I personally have my eqclient.ini shortcut on my desktop so I can switch ui's real fast. :)
3. I doubt you missed the postings cuz you probably didn't read them. If you had read...well...every tradeskill post you'd know about the delay. You can't miss what you didn't look for. :)

There ya go.
