Old macro not working with new MQ2

Post by crankyplayer » Tue Dec 12, 2006 2:45 pm

i am having problems with a macro that i got from a friend - it is a beastlord helper ... the beastlord does everything except follow the mob and hit - he slows / buffs when told to / sends pet ... but he just stands there and turns attack on but doesnt move to mob .

My question is why would the new macroquest effect this old code and what can i do to fix this problem ( i took the old file from old MQ and copied it and pasted in my new macro's folder )

http://www.macroquest2.com/wiki/index.p ... arch=rogue

I put this link in because when i read through the bestlord helper i noticed it was an edit of a rogue helper - i hope that helps

(if you all like i can attach the file - it is very long and i figured it would just spawm ya'll )

It might help to post the macro, or to put a link that will work up. The one you have links to wiki searching...

or maybe a link to the macro you're using, to kill 2 birds with 1 stone
Cheers

If the macro uses a /stick command, make sure you have MQ2MoveUtils loaded.

The file worked before the patch earlier this week - is there a new moveutilities that is required to make certain macro's work?[/code]

try /plugin mq2moveutils
then run the macro
If that doesnt work, recompile the plugin, and try and load it again.

yes . . . cause if it's one thing we can live without, it's patches to fix bugs and exploits.
