I feel so very stupid... i did a /report on a guy and forgot mq was running and i had just done a /who...

Im thinking perhaps the gm might be curious as to why i have the name race level and loc for every person in the zone...

thats gotta be a ban...

While I don't agree with people that abuse MQ I would "NEVER EVER" turn in someone for doing it. Let them get cought all by them selfs and lose an account they worked so hard for.

You misunderstand I turned in the guy for harrasing me but forgot **I WAS USING MACROQUEST** and /reported lines containing incriminating evidence...

Im not positive but i think it just grabs the last 10 lines of text in your chat box.... thats a bad thing. anyone know for sure?

could be that what is shown in your chat box is just the normal EQ commands and chat that shows up during gameplay. I would think that MQ commands only show up on YOUR box, and no-where else. While this is a risky thing that you did, you may have just verified that they cant see MQ commands. YAY!!.... on the other hand..... maybe they just want us to think that

/reports are not read unless you also petition, so you should be fine.

/report sends the last 10 lines of all chat windows (in the new UI), and since it's client-side, it may grab them out of the chat buffer... in which case the MQ lines would show up.

Did you mention in the /petition that you also sent (or were going to send) a /report? Did you tell the guide that answered you that you did or were going to send a /report? If not, then the report may never be looked at.
