Would it be easy to create a macro that would, say, search through the items a vendor is selling and check them against a list of wanted items? It's a nice help to tradeskillers like me since it can be really annoying to look for 1 or 2 items when vendors have dozens of items on them along with dozens of vendors.

I searched and found old probably unworking macros that are kind of the opposite, i.e. buy from bazaar and sell to vendors, and to clarify I'm not asking for any kind of hackish ones that would open every vendor in the zone at once.

If you have VIP access there is a nice little plugin that does this very thing, you build an INI list (which is nicely alphabetized!) and when you open a vendor window, you are alerted if the vendor has anything in your INI.

The things in VIP should stay VIP unless you make them, then you are more then welcome to put them whereever you like.
