Invis Mobs, Verants try to find MQ-users?

I use /target NPC to find nearest mob.
Since last 3 days i often find more and more Invis mobs around.
And of course, i targeted them.
Is Verant able to recognize what mob i am targeting? Seems so, look for example at normal /assist function. Even normal players are able to find out.
So having an invis mob targeted could be detected and flagged as "Hm, how could he do this... normally...."

Are these just normal mobs? There are lots of triggers and event spawner thingies in Luclin zones, and quite a bit in the older zones too. There are some named invisible mobs here and there too, no idea what use they have if any.

I highly doubt it, as I can completely legit-ly (is that a word?) target invis mobs without MQ or ShowEQ and have before.

In fact, sometimes it's annoying, I go to hand something to someone, and there happens to be an invis mob in the way and I end up almost giving it to THEM instead.

For example, I can easily target "A Mystic Voice" and "Norrath Spires" and such at portals, easist way is to take a no drop item and walk around with it on cursor clicking it until suddenly it opens trade window with invis mob, then click CANCEL and I have an invis mob targetted.

was doing that before MQ was even out. Funny to hear "A Mystic Voice says, 'I don't want that item, Icon, you can have it back."
