Ok I am currently trying to decide whether or not I want to change to ISXEQ from MQ2, but am not really sure how ISXEQ works. Right now I use MQ2 for Twist, Moveutils and to hydra a ranger along with my bard, so the question is, does ISX have at least an equal to all of these things?

I am not a very good scripter, at most I can hunt through a macro and change out some items when needed, if given guidance as to what I am looking for. So me writing my own scripts for ISX would be out of the question for a while.

Another question I have is: Does ISXEQ get updated faster than MQ2 after a patch? Basically I am looking for reasons to switch to ISX over MQ2, I only play 2 online games, EQ1 and Guild Wars, so being able to hack alot of platforms with one program isnt that great a need for me.

How is it better for me?

No, ISXEQ is MQ2. It's the same source code. ISXEQ is updated precisely when MQ2 is updated

Err. IS is a platform, you can hack a lot of games, not a lot of platforms :) Also, it has nothing to do with online games or hacking them, really, but for an MQ2 user I can see why that would be the line of thinking. It deals with any Direct3D8 or Direct3D9 game instead of just specific games or just online games. I use it myself regardless of what game I'm playing or if it's online. For some games, the ability to force the game into a window is enough

You didnt mention scripts other than this, and I dont see a question, so I'm going to assume there wasnt one and you're not looking for scripts

It might not be better for you. If you only want a few specific things, and you already have them and are comfortable with it, then you'll probably just stick with that. On the other hand, Inner Space does provide a lot of cool stuff. Sessions are automatically networked together so you can relay commands (instead of using tells, for example. tsk tsk), fully-featured user interface, built-in navigational systems, much much faster scripting (not to mention support for other scripting engines, like a good Lua 5.0.2 engine I posted on ismods, which runs faster than LavishScript). It's light years ahead of MQ2, but the main thing is that people already have invested their time creating things for MQ2, and for the most part, they dont want to drop everything and start over (and MQ2 is free).

Suffice it to say that there are countless benefits that could be had by switching (script performance is a big one), but those benefits come at the cost of rewriting things to use the new architecture.
