in regards to /click in NewUI? I'm so sick of that ugly old interface to macro. I want my custom ui >.<

This has been discussed.

The current problem with newui is our current click feature clicks UNDER the ui onto the actual playing board (btw if you wanna try it by setting you viewscreen smaller so there ISNT a playing board under the inventory, that might net us soemthing useful), and that would require some serious analysis and memhacking to deal with..

If you want to tradeskill macro do old ui...
otherwise use new... only thing that I would want to do in newUI that I cant atm is switch weapons on my monk since i cant click on inv... but I manage ;p

Plaz has stated that he does not plan upon puttng much energy into this until if/when the old ui is disabled permanently.

So, is there still the problem with Item loss in the NewUI?

I've been holding off on updating (or using) my Cleric Bot Macro.... My Cleris has pretty good gear and I'd hate to lose it all.

So if you use the newui...you can NEVER zone!!? That's not fair! I want to be able to zone and travel the world.. Oh the places I would have gone, the things I could have seen

You can zone, just don't leave ANY macros running! Even if it just waits for an event in the background, /end it!

Has anyone lost items while running a macro if they /camp, go LD, or die in new UI? Haven't heard those cases specifically mentioned yet.

I didn't think it was working. It's a shame, it makes MQ unusable for me.

I don't want/need /click or /mouseto to work. I just need to be able to zone without losing gear....

My guild uses the /raid commands and those aren't available in the OldUI, so you see, I'm forced to use the New one.

Oh well I guess I'll get creative with making hot keys...

Using MacroQuest in NewUI works fine for me, IF I'm not tradeskilling, I zone, I use /who /mana /target, all the usual, I can Hail stuff without crashing to desktop.

This is on both my machines, a Windows XP Pro box and Windows XP Home edition, both running Magelo Profile and EQW too..

So using it isn't a problem.. using it with a Macro running and zoning is baaad.. m'kay..

There are other Macros besides tradeskill macros you know..? MQ commands / enhancements are not exactly what I'm after. I need the scripting potion to work. I have written a bot script for my cleric, however it is impossible to use. Because death can come at anytime without warning, hence my DT example above...

The only thing I could possibly trap for would be "You have been slain" an then /endmacro on that event. But alas that doesn't work either.
