I decided to get goofy and am almost done with my alrgest macro yet will be posting it in about 2 more weeks. Before i start testing it I was wanting to know if the loosing all items upon zoneing while macroing bug has been fixed.

No it hasnt. I learned the hard way while twisting with my bard, that is unless something changed it in the 10-31 patch. I zoned intentionally while running a macro (my stupid fault, I knew better) but I also died while running a macro with the same result. So I think it is safe to say, dont do it you will lose stuff.

grey, do you have your debug spew from when it happened?

were you using the new ui?

I never checked the debug spew, and yes it was in the new UI, again my fault. I forget now why I had switched it over but I forgot to put it back and went on playing, and then did it again. No big harm done though, it was a alt and not to much cool stuff. If you need the debug I can send it to you, Unless it gets overwritten the next time I used it. If I have it and you need it let me know.
