JC edited the wiki reguarding the situation, here:
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Editing . As He wrote in the wiki, the situation is that He had been using MQ2 for about 6 months, then due to unforseen circumstances had to quit EQ, and had deleted EQ and MQ2 from His system. He has redownloaded C++ 2003, C++ 2005 beta, the SDK's and gotten Nmake. He has followed the instructions from MQ2 over and over trying different things each time, to no prevail. If anyone can pitch some ideas out there to help him, He would appreciate it. Also if any additional information is needed He can reply to this post and give it. Thanks.

So . . . do you often talk about yourself in the third person?

WTF?
Have you ever seen anyone who needs to be banned or a thread that needs to be locked worst than this?

SlimFastForYou tried to edit the wiki, but had problems. As he tried to wrote in the wiki, the situation is that He had been using his choo choo train for about 6 months, but then due to some unknown reason, had to eat his choo choo train's batteries. He has regurgitated the batteries and put them in, but to no prevail - choo choo won't talk to him. If anyone can pitch some ideas out there to help him get his choo choo train to speak to him, He would appreciate it.

PS: SlimFastForYou expects to get about as helpful of an answer as JC did. SlimFastForYou doesn't know if English is or isn't JC's first language, but if it isn't, JC should consider using good online translators so JC can use pronouns to refer to JC's self.
PPS: Actually, SlimFastForYou has a better chance at getting a more helpful answer than JC, because SlimFastForYou's question isn't frequently asked, answered in stickies, and in TFM.

excuse me for not knowing wether or not to use the same rules of the wiki to post for help on here, and expecting to get it. that was my first post, and it only took you guys a few hours to flame the fuck out of me for no reason but to help you feel better about yourself. if you have no help for me please just leave it alone. all i did was ask for help. go fuck off.

You didn't say what exactly went wrong. You just said you couldn't get it to work.
Also, it is widespread knowledge that MQ2 has been broken due to a recent EQ patch. Every time eqgame.exe gets patched, MQ breaks. If you read the manual, wiki, or even the forums you should have known that. If you can't even get it compiled then you should have known to post more information about your problem. Call this post a flame if you wish but most people here don't like a bajillion requests for them to take their time to answer questions that have been answered over and over and over again.
Edit: Looks like a new MQ2 was uploaded VERY recently. Try that one.

Thanks for the second post Slimfastforyou. The one that I tried was from May 26th. But I am unsure if that will fix the problem. After I set the compiler (vcvars32) I tried to compile it and I got a bunch of errors saying that some of the directories and such could not be compiled because it did not know how. Before when I compiled it I just used setenv.bat and it said something to the effect of windows 32 debugger. and it didnt work. i think i am missing something, but I dont know what and I have downloaded everything from the wiki. I will try the newest one and see if that works.

First off, I'm sure Wikimedia appreciated you editing their wiki instead of the macroquest2.com wiki. Good move there. Second, dont tell people to fuck off when you do something stupid like that. Third, don't make a new account on our boards after being banned for telling people to fuck off when you do something stupid like that.
