EQgame.exe was patched this morning, MQ2 will not be working again until the dev's post the next version. Could be 2 days could be 2 weeks. One way you can help is by donating to the Dev's.

Offsets are not all that needs to be fixxed, there is more to it then just that, offsets actually only take 3 minutes to fix so don't bother asking if they need help fixxing offsets.

Thank you,
No, don't post it here. This would be the WRONG place to post it. If you would post it here, you would most likely be banned for putting it in the wrong place.

If you know how to fix it, post it in the relevant threads in the dev forums..

Whats that you say? You dont have access to the dev forums.. Well farqing well donate then.

Sadly moving the dev forums to the VIP section was the only way to stop the flood of "these offsets dont work for me" and "i'm still crashing" type posts.

1) People dont generally submit fixes at all, so that's kind of a silly statement. We left the development forums public for several years, and the number of submitted patches by people who dont have access to our cvs is amazingly low (could probably count the submitted patches in the past 2 years on one hand)
2) As is mentioned elsewhere, the devs dont need help doing offsets. The offsets are the first 5 minutes of updating MQ2 after a patch. It's more about people sharing their offsets with others in hopes of someone getting it working before the devs update. Sometimes it happens, but on most non-trivial patches (such as this one), it doesnt (and probably wont happen this patch)

There have been quite a few people have submitted "patches" in the form of new features and such. We do appriciate their efforts. These people are also quite capable of getting MQ2 up and running, but they tend not to post their fixes because of the way this project has evolved.

Their non-public efforts are helpful during patch times. This is still a community project.

Patches for new features, yes plenty. Specifically regarding "fixes" though..
