labels and goto?

Post by billthecat » Fri May 20, 2005 5:22 pm

I should probably take the hint since I have not seen any references to goto in the lavishscript docs, but does lavishscript support the goto statement?

Nope. Goto is an abomination ;) The reason it's not implemented in LavishScript actually has to do with some optimizations that really make goto a pain in the ass. Regardless, with functions, switches, and while loops (which also have break and continue), goto shouldn't really be necessary.

advpath seems to make liberal use of them. I should be able to shoehorn it into some switch statements though.
