HELP! This macro has several probs

Post by quasit » Sun Oct 27, 2002 11:57 am

I wrote a macro and it does some funny stuff, when i combine something and it fails, it will sit there for exacly 30 secs and continue, or i can just type /endmacro and then restart it, and it takes off from where it left off.

I am also having a problem with him handing stuff into merchant, so i have to stand on the edge of the merchants area. I can click on him, but not hand anything into him.

Last prob is, that when i combine another macro, it makes a byproduct. It drops the product when it is made no problem, but when I get the byproduct, it just sits there for exacly 30 secs and continues unless i restart it again.

This site is great, been checking it out for a while now and finally had something to say.

I appreciate any help/code to help me work through this.

Hey everyone, I have read the readme file. I have tried taking things out, adding things. But I can't stop it from doing that lame 30 sec delay when it fails making something. Should i post the combine, or where else can it be getting hung up. Macro works besides this, but having to click done, start macro, end macro everytime it hangs sucks. Like 20 times every 12.5 min....Thanks again for your help.

Hello quasit.

If the macro was received from the board, and from the Macro Depot, chances are good the macro works fine.

Recent Patches to EQ have hindered MQ slightly, so the Devs have been working on MQ and not releasing the offsets used to operate MQ.

This leaves the offset locating to those that can, and we post what we find.

Recently like some others, there is a problem getting any offset value past 005.

Keyboard is one that sits in the 007 range as an example.

I guess the short of this response is that, your Macro may be just fine, but the offsets in the eqgame.ini file could be off. Just takes one offset to throw a whole bunch of things off wack.

Not saying this IS your problem, im saying it is possible.
