Never again. The project has been cancelled. Read the other 292395 threads on the topic for more details.

Either mrjoshuanc was joking, or he's a retard and should have been joking.

We dont have an eta (we've never had an eta in past patches either), it will be out when it's out. There is another EQ patch coming up in a couple days. http://eqlive.station.sony.com/support/ ... status.jsp

I would refer you to the posting I made just yesterday:
If you want the truth, devs are here to add functionality and/or make periodic updates to the cvs repository.

Offset, Struct, and virtual function changes are more 'maintenance' type concerns and should be within the scope of any qualified user to update him/herself.

Therefore, one should expect zips when there's new content to be had rather than just because we had an SOE patch. At the moment, the devs are busy on other issues and no one has recently posted any significant 'additions' to the source, so there's really no current reason for releasing a new zip other than to cater to the masses.

That's not to say that one of us might again feel the urge to start updating every patch as has been done the past year; however, it's not something that every user should take for granted.

But Amadeus, I'm a programming tard. I don't contribute to this in anyway, normally.

I am a leech, a user, a grateful one but one nonetheless.

I read over the tutorial on updating the offsets and was bewildered quite quickly.

Isn't there anyone willing to update this for me and people like me, the rightly called masses.

Please?

If you're a ViP, everything you need is right there, programming noob or not. If you compiled the code, you can make the needed changes and be working again.

Open source does not mean "hold your hand". The basic materials are here and it's up to you if you want to use it or not, it's not my fault or anyone else's if you can't figure it out. Welcome to the real world.

Take the time to learn C++, take the time to learn how MQ works, and take the time to read EVERY posting on these boards. That's how it's done.

Most of us learned this ourselves without going to school..lots of time and energy to figure it out. I figure if you spend just an hour or so a night researching and reading about C++/MQ/EQ/etc.. and reading these boards, you'll feel comfortable updating your source in a month or two.

Let's compromise and say I was joking with a retard who didn't bother to read the million other threads asking about 'omgwtfwhenthepatch'.

I have no idea how to find offsets, structs or anything else MQ related...however I am not retarded and I read the thread in VIP and have a working copy atm...its not hard.
