Sorry to WASTE bandwidth again but it will be last time I post. So forgive me in advance.

First at all, thank for so many instantly response. By the way I don't believe in Jesus =P

All Lax said is what I believe for a pretty long time but from the post Amadeus made
If you want the truth, devs are here to add functionality and/or make periodic updates to the cvs repository.

Offset, Struct, and virtual function changes are more 'maintenance' type concerns and should be within the scope of any qualified user to update him/herself.

Therefore, one should expect zips when there's new content to be had rather than just because we had an SOE patch. At the moment, the devs are busy on other issues and no one has recently posted any significant 'additions' to the source, so there's really no current reason for releasing a new zip other than to cater to the masses.

That's not to say that one of us might again feel the urge to start updating every patch as has been done the past year; however, it's not something that every user should take for granted.

Also, remember that there are three active/communicating devs on this project at the moment and I see no reason for that to change in the immediate future (cvs security has been an issue in the past). So, I would imagine that things will remain as they have been the past year (and currently) for the foreseeable future.
And the instant post-remove / forum-remove in dev forum,
I have see one eqgame.h fix post in dev/general right away after patch and a structure fix in dev/structure forum after 1 day of patch, but they get removed within several hours and whole forums get removed from public after a few days from this patch.

There are several useful informations in dev/general like how to get the latest offset / strcture and some latest find-out bugs by others
There are always useful for ppl who like to study the code and make the change by their own, but the removal of those from public just make me get such idea above. Just want to make sure if there is any new definition of GPL and VIP. No offense.

You can go ahead to announce GPL but I only believe what I see especially comared with SEQ forum :)

Just a small recommendation.... when a stupid post you make gets locked it's generally not a great idea to start a new one.

What an ungrateful fuck.

Once again, the existence of a VIP forum has nothing to do with the GPL. We moved the MQ2::Development forums to VIP following discussions in IRC -- if you want to be a part of such discussions, join IRC and quit whining like a little bitch on the forums, especially after your post was locked. You're just going to get yourself banned.

Take your crusade elsewhere, it's unfounded here.

SEQ doesn't have the same problems that we do. They also do not have the mass amount of users that we do, nor do they have people making the same amout of obscene money using their product.

When you have a valid, legal complaint (as related to GPL, etc..), please come back and try again. Otherwise, you're not proving any point other than the people in charge have made a decision with which you don't agree.
