[[
http://www.macroquest2.com/wiki/index.php/Port_scan's]] I am behind a firewall and i am unable too use irc, or anything else that use's a port between 2000 and 65000. i can not port scan myself. online port scan bots are not scaning correctly, and are not able too determine wich ports are open/ closed (returns all ports are silent). I am using a LAN through my college, server web page is
www.greenriver.edu default gateway is 192.168.108.1

I'm confused as to whether you had a question or not, or rather, what does this have to do with MQ

Or maybe you're saying you cant join the IRC because of the port number, is that right?

proxy server? i'm assuming your talking about using something like httport, this works for irc because irc tends too use low band width, but people get pissed when your using p2p crap and boging down there htthost server. it can have a realy high ping time too. would rather just find a open port through my firewall, i'm sure the lan admin here left one open. here's a link too
httport.exe. god damit i guess finding a open port now is not related at all too MQ since i found a way too make IRC work, I hate finding answers too my own questions, being lazy and stupid is more fun.

trapped has 2 'p's in it.
maybe you should just talk to your admin, though. irc is fairly harmless, I'm sure he'll help you figure out a way to get through.

If they haven't solved their problem in 2 months then there is nothing you can do/say to help them,, except bump 2 month old dead threads.

Since you're not saying exactly how you want to use irc through mq I don't know if this would apply to you but if you just want your bots to talk to eachother the best way would be to run your own local irc server.
