trouble with /doevents (possible bug)

I am using the 10162002 IRClatest-release that is linked to from the home page and the offsets listed for 10/23. Everytime I execute a /doevents I am kicked to my desktop.
I was running a fighting macro when I found it and discovered it was when I did a /doevent kick. I typed this in from the command line (instead of doing it from inside a macro) and get the same results. When I comment out that line everything works fine.
