I'va added there a suggestion about what revision to use when you want to use MQ on Sebilis server.

It simply crashed at server selection (buffer overrun i guess), so i guess that yet another time, us exe and european exe don't match.

That leads me to ask two questions, if you don't mind :

- Has someone got a clue about what older version of MQ i should use ?
- If not, is there any possibility to edit some code in the newest one in order to make it work on my server ? (a long time ago, if remember well, modifying chathook.cpp could do the job)

Thanks for adding to the wiki, correctly even :)

Open the file in EverQuest\Logs called "dbg.txt" (may only show up as dbg to you if extensions are off)

The very first line should say something just like this: Paste it here, then you or someone else can check for a zip with that build information in eqgame.h. When you find that, you're all set.

Hmm I just noticed the build date there is not the same as the client version info we use. eqgame.exe actually has two different build dates and times in it

I'll make a quick utility to get the right one.

Edit the wiki page when you find the correct version -- make sure the line "As for now, the revision to use on Sebilis is (dont know)." reads something like "As for now, the revision to use on Sebilis is MQ2-20050319.zip, with eqgame.exe version Mar 2 2005 16:37:01"

Also, the client override thing should be completely unnecessary with the right zip. The euro servers are just on an older patch and will always have the same exact version and client build date/time as US servers, just potentially older.

I've found the correct zip for the current version of eqgame.exe on Sebilis. I edited Wiki accordingly.
