I have the newest version of mq2 and just finished compiling it today. It compiled fine and everything else, but I don't have the mq window... and it doesn't load, I read

and did what it says, but it says that the plugin isn't found when I try to load it. I have the chat redirected to my normal chat window, but I'm not too fond of it. Yeah I searched for a bit, but when you search those terms you get close to 2000 results. Did I screw up somewhere? Or can someone give me the code for the chat window

BTW, just found out the chat window macro and the map macro are corrupt, and are corrupted every time i try to dl the latest version of mq2

Found an old copy of MQ in one of my folders and used the cpp file, opened it in notepad, copied, started a new plugin, pasted in c++ compiled works fine. Sorry will stop posting now.

Please verify that you downloaded the latest zip (MQ2-20050222.zip), extracted it into its own directory (not into a directory you had previously compiled from).

Also, you can verify that a plugin is loaded by using "/plugin list".

I would bet that it IS working correctly, just off the screen somewhere.

You can try to fix that by doing "/plugin unload mq2chatwnd" then "/plugin mq2chatwnd" to reload the plugin.

Nah the map files and the window files were corrupt. I rebuilt the window plugin, but I'm having trouble rebuilding the map. Tried doing the same thing that I did with the window plugin, but it asks for a few more files and now im getting some build errors. Oh well, I'll figure it out eventually. Got my window up and now things are looking up

*edit* BTW, I think I am having trouble with corrupt files because winrar is conflicting with some other programs. Switched to default zip program and the corrupt file issues i was having are gone.

I'm having the same issue with the map, I think. I turn MQ on, try to bring up the map, and EQ crashes on me entirely. If an older version works, where can I get one? and if not, was it definately winrar (not) doing it for you?

Mine works perfectly fine. Clearly a user error.
