ok, im DLing this and all geting it set up, following the instructions ont he above sticky thread and somethings not working right. (if this was stated in someone elses post sorry for asking a second time as i havent seen this on the posts ive read).
Everything is ok untill i get to "8.) Click the "Connect to Visual Studio .net Lab" link and allow the ActiveX Control to install. " the activeX control instalation window does not come up, and i have nothing turned on to block it.
So i just skipped it, hopeing it would be ok, well once i get to this step"12a.) Open the file and double click MQ2Auth.exe(A window will popup and ask if you want to allow the program to run, click OK). " when i double click on the MQ2Auth.exe a window pops up but goes away right after like stated in step 3.
What am i doing wrong? if anyone knows help would be much aprecieated.

Beg, borrow, steal, purchase or otherwise acquire a real compiler. I believe that tutorial says at the top it can't guarantee it's success.
Further, this is NOT a MQ problem. This is a problem with your compiling technique. MQ works great.

Sounds like you answered your own question. Im not 100% sure because I do not use that method to compile but if your skipping something chances are that is your problem.
You may already have that ActiveX control installed but just in case go to Tools > Internet option > security . Select the custom level and check to make sure ActiveX downloading signed and unsigned are checked and those marked safe. Also make sure run ActiveX controls and plugins marked as safe is selected.
If you are using windows XP it may be that retarded windows firewall. Just speculating.

... Why the hell would you make a NEW topic for a question that relates to a stickied topic? Post in the correct topic and you MIGHT get help.
