any idea how this could be done? would the prices MQ uses be able to be referenced to? where are they kept?

Yes, this is possible. However, it's fairly complex and dangerous.

SoE is on the lookout for data miners, so doing a lot of price lookups in the bazaar could lead to trouble.

Additionally, it is fairly difficult to navigate around the bazaar via macro.
