I have the program running, but I dont think its working when i type /plugin list (in the chat box in eq - thats where its supposed to be typed, right? While in the game?) nothing happens. I cant get any of the /mq2commands to work, is there something i may have done wrong? The names of the characters ive noticed changed, but thats the only thing ive noticed. Is there a way to check to make sure its working or how do I go about fixing it? I have been searching other threads but I cant seem to find where i need to type the commands and where they will show up (if they even do)

Try to just type /who.
If It goes to your main EQ window, It's not functioning properly. If it goes to the MQ2CHT_WND, then it's working fine.

Does it only work with the original UI then? When i do a /who it doesn't show up in any window. Whats the command to rerun the window?
I got this when trying to run the SetEnv.Bat file
Attempting to detect a Microsoft Visual Studio installation
Targeting Windows XP 32 DEBUG
\bin was unexpected at this time.

no idea on your message from the compiler, but if you've noticed the names changing to MQ2 style then i'd think it is running correctly. Edit or delete your MQ2Chatwnd.ini in the release directory, I'm guessing the window is either showing up behind a ui element of your ui, or is offscreen.

Follow the instructions... this works, honest. Use the default IU until after you have MQ2 working.
Nothing hard about this. Read and follow the instructions.
