Think this has been posted before, but other ppl told me to make a new post.

A lot of times when I open map, EQ will freeze, and about 20 seconds later the MQ2 block crash window pops up. Or EQ will just close, and I'll be booted to desktop (like i X'd eq out). I use EQW if that makes a difference.

This only happens when I open the map in a new zone for the first time, if I don't crash the first time I open it, i have no problems at all.

The temporary solution to this, at least in my case, was to make sure I do a /mapfilter pc hide and show before I open the map in a new zone. I tried to find the source of this issue, but was interrupted when recently I moved everything to a new computer and didn't install .NET on it yet, so couldn't do much investigating since. Especially with playing WoW more lately. Last time I tried to reproduce the error, this is what I had and always crashed after a few zones. Might be the same error or something similar, so could be a good starting point.
Have mq2map loaded, do /mapfilter npc, and then add concolor to them, then /mapfilter pc, zone a few times, map open or not, didn't seem to matter to me, once my name started to show up multiple times on the map I would crash in the next zone almost every time. /mapfilter pc on and off gets rid of that bug for now, but obviously at one point somebody who doesn't give up on tracking the problem (unlike me, heh) will find what happens and everything will be good, wood elven chix will stroke...your beard...and halflings will start shaving their feet.
