What is Routines.mac (I searched, though couldn't find it). Is it needed to run Cheese? I'm also getting the following..
Bad variable in /var function
cheese.mac@13 (Main): /varcalc v50
$char(plat)*10+$char(gold)
Cleared the following: Timers Vars Arroays
The current macro has ended.
Can anyone give me some help please? :) Thanks..

I'm pretty new here. But I'm guessing since the variable changes. The cheese mac is outdated still & hasn't been working in a while, huh?..
