you right the buff and a pop up with show spell info, click that and the window will pop up, that was changed a long time ago, and the spell cast window you hold down the right mouse button

Freq_di28889.zip CLICK ME
NonMQUI
Adjusted the spacing for the Player-window to look a bit better
Added the title-bar to the chats and buff bars, if you hover over the top portion of the border you will the the cross-hair's now you can move easier.
small glitch with the chat window can't find out how to get rid of the text, so a little text is left and cut off, so you don't see anything rename the chat window.
I renamed main to just a . (period)
and chat 2 to ..(period,period)
so you can't see it at all

Having issues with the same thing as Nightwind...
MQ2Labels and itemdisplay are properly loaded.
I'm fiddling with it slowly.

yup still having that problem even with the labels and the item display loaded...
it only happens on the spells in my spell book, spell gems, and buff window..
Item links work fine. like if i get a link for CCS (crystaline covered Shroud) I get that just fine....
thanks and have a good day.

and it works in the non MQ UI, does not however work in the MQ ui without mq running. wow this is confusing me... I'll play with it more after MQ is patched.
EDIT:
Found the fix.
If you are having this problem, delete all of your old UI files, and then re download the zip and extract it.

Hello, I've been away from EQ and MQ for about 11 months now. I used to use this UI with MQ, luved it. However, now that I have returned, something seems to have changed, I cannot get the UI to even be recognized ingame to load. My UIfiles folder is now completely empty and the patcher didnt' recognize this to re-DL as per instructions i got off another site.
So basically i'm stuck in default UI hell and any help or point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

you put the folder in your EQ's UI dirctory right, I seen a few unzip my file and just pop that over the the UI folder and not notice that its in another sub folder.
ie. C:\Program Files\EverQuest\uifiles\Freq_di28889\
and not C:\Program Files\EverQuest\uifiles\Freq_di28889\Freq_di28889\
