Is it impossible to fix ?

Dont know yet. I tried yesterday but couldn't figure out wtf was the problem. EQ crashes somewhere unrelated entirely, and EQCPU doesnt even have to do anything for it to happen. For now, just run it after you're in game

Doesn't work fpr me. If I start it after Im allrdy in the game, I will crash very soon. With both instances of EQ / EQW.

Maybe... maybe change the names of some of the calls that EQCPU does?
Maybe SOE got smart and patched against the process from running?

Since EQCPU is just a small subset from MQ, is MQ not working anymore either ?

MQ works fine. I have EQCPU on the back burner sorry, been busy with other stuff. I'll get EQCPU working soon

thanks for the update... I ran across this about 5 days before it got nuked, it was a godsend to my connection... all I can figure is AoL isn't smart enough to hold back enough CPU for times of extreme stress (raid situations) which would get EQ out of sync somehow packet nu,bers would drop back, but I'd be lagged a good minute behind realtime, till I finally lost all connection... zoning or camping off helps get things sync'd back but not for long when it really matters.
anywho, regardless of what the cause is, EQCPU solved it, at least as far as I could tell in those 4~5 days... I look forward to giving it a good test once the conflict is solved, and hope the upcoming melee patch doesn't un-fix it again heh.
sorry I rambled on there... just wanted to say thanks for letting us know it's not been scrapped just yet
