Well technically all Sony can do is ban our accounts...heh. As long as we're not modifying anything on their end, we can do what we want. They do however reserve the right to ban us for any reason because we agree to their EULA.
As for MQ2? It is as legal as a gameshark for PS2. We're only viewing data sent to us, to our own privately owned computer in our private residence, and possibly even modifying data on our end, which is safe and sound.
Sony can make whatever protections they want, but the fact remains that we can break any protection they throw at us. MQ2 will only die when the devs stop updating it. Even then, another will come along and continue the work that the MQ devs had so greatly contributed.
As for neo....he's probably banned, seeing the lack of posts from him now. However I did enjoy reading this post. I think it's fun to read stuff like this. Gives me a little smile to run the rest of my day off.
