Oh great and powerful Gimp, I beseech you. I would be more than happy to pony up $10 to the MQ2 Gods but can't seem to find a generic link without posting cash to several individual devs. That and I have read it takes days or weeks for someone to be magnanimous and grant the ethereall VIP access once this is done. I have been using Krust UI for years and love it. Havent played since it broke because I dont want to rearrange my windows twice. No matter what I download from http://nofuture.se/krust/svn/ when I load it in game the UI does not change at all. I am guessing I need to copy some files into it from the new EQ compile but of course without VIP access I am not privy to knowing what those are.

Please - give me a good link to donate and
Please - tell me what to do to get this back up and running.

Once that is done I don't care how long it takes the devs to give me VIP access and I can go back to playing the game with an interface I am familiar with. I even tried loading Frequency UI just for something more than the standard and no matter what I do the stock UI is all I get. I promise I will pay but please help me get this back up.

the krust UI posted at http://nofuture.se/krust/svn/ is not broke.

its not much but i have working buff and short buff windows. I am not sure how old they are, but i've slightly modified effects window by adding numbers that get hidden by buffs so you dont have to count your buffs. My spell icon window has ben resized also so that you can see 3 numbers in your cast ammounts and it does not cut off the bottom of the spell book. Didnt see any issues with combat abilities window. Rest of my ui consists of Freq_di28889 pieces. Let me know if interested.

Um...that post the the UI was working was made on Sept 11th. There's been quite a few patches since then that have messed with UI stuff. Also, it has been stated that the current thread for maintaining this UI is in the Plugin section of the VIP forum, so I don't think you'll find much help here. In the ACTUAL thread, Gnits has posted a link to a working copy of his UI files that he has been maintaining.

So yeah...check the dates of the post before you decide to go off on a rant. It's not like gimp owes it to you to keep updating this UI. He's said he barely plays EQ anymore (if at all), so how can you still expect him to continue spending his free time working on something that provides little to no benefit to himself? Especially when people are so ungrateful and demanding of new updates.
