It is a well known fact that wis/int does not affect success rate. They affect the rate of skill up.
MQSEQ wrote:We'll just leave it as this, I think they need to revamp the Trade skill system and you don't think they do.
On the contrary, I'm not saying it's perfect. But it is a SIMULATION. Random failures are there to simulate accidents, mistakes due to rushing, unintended interruptions , etc.
Having my oatmeal boil over in the microwave because my son started telling me a story, doesn't mean I'm not a master oatmeal maker.. 8)

Don't burn the oatmeal or you might not eat it.

We know that the current tradeskill interface is cumbersome, so the UI guys have come up with some new ideas.
New ideas hah! This is exactly how tradeskills in DAoC works, another blatant ripoff like the melee opening system. Its still a nice upgrade though.

You beat me to it. This is an exact rip-off of DAoC, BUT I don't give a flying flip. Games would have not evolved to the level they are now if people hadn't "ripped-off" others' ideas. Kudos to Sony, it's about fucking time.
Now, to MQ this new feature...

I actually did that the first time I made mac-n-cheese. Nowhere on the box did it say "drain the noodles"... mac-n-cheese soup! My wife to this day won't let me live that one down.

Well, too late for my JC, Brewing & Fletching, but at least I can do the 200->250 grind on the others with the new interface.
