update

Post by Azum » Sun Sep 19, 2004 7:21 pm

afnuke.mac (first post - updated 09/19)
afnuke.inc (third post - updated 09/19)
afnuke2.inc (seventh post - updated 09/19)

(09/19) - Added on the fly force shield toggle. Added version checking (hopefully will make the macro load faster for those who have slow computers). Made adjustments to snare. Fixed a bug that made temp staff setting in assist mode too verbose. ;) Made various other improvements and tweaks. More to come.

Well, are you using assist mode when it breaks a mez? If so, blame your assist. Could try setting mobhealth to a lower number.

As far as the translocate thing goes... it sounds like someone sent you a tell for a translocate? Otherwise, that would've never happened. That's part of the automated translocate code - someone sends you a tell with tl or translocate in it - the macro casts it on them. I can see where it might be a problem in the scenario you just described though. I'll see if I can think of a way to make it a little more picky.

the closest thing to that would be Person tells you,'apparently'

can it be fixed so it only picks up tl alone? or set it so you can toggle it on/off?

and, not to sound petty here :p but if it casts snare on the npc and it hits both of you, lands on the npc, but you resist it, it'll recast thinking the npc resisted it

You just reminded me why I had put the distance check in to begin with. Back to the drawing board. As far as the resist thing goes, you can set retry to 0 if it bothers you. Wizard snare being an AE makes it a bitch to macro.

And good catch on the TL thing, I'll fix that too.

afnuke.mac (first post - updated 09/19)
afnuke.inc (third post - updated 09/19)
afnuke2.inc (seventh post - updated 09/19)
INI documentation (eighth post - updated 09/19)

(09/19) - Two updates today. I can't come up with an elegant solution for AE snare. As such I'm going to have it ignore resists for now and leave the distance check out. I made automated translocate better - it will now only translocate if "tl" are the first two letters in the tell, or "translocate" is the first word in the tell. I also added a toggle for it, called autoTL. Added on the fly force shield toggle. Added version checking (hopefully will make the macro load faster for those who have slow computers). Made adjustments to snare. Fixed a bug that made temp staff setting in assist mode too verbose. ;) Made various other improvements and tweaks. More to come.

Might it be possible to have a way to set it to use Call of Xuzl (/alt activate 208) or Wrath of Xuzl (/alt activate 246)? Thanks again for this great piece of work.

Would love to see some customisation of the ini file to allow

/macro afnuke <tank> <fire> <ice> <magic>

And we could specify

Firenuke1
Firenuke2
icenuke1
icenuke2
magicnuke1
magicnuke2

and it used the appropriate nuke setup :)

Much <3 for this macro

how do i get the macro to cast "Draught of E`Ci"? it says i don't have that spell, i'm guessing the "`" is throwing it off

That works for me. Make sure you are using the ` and not something else.

Draught of E'ci

Go to lucy, go to the spell detail screen, copy / paste the spell name from there to the ini / macro.
Reading . . . it's not just for me.

Learn something new everyday! I wasn't aware that there were two alt activateable Xuzls, I'll get that added.

For you guys that want the customized spell sets etc, there's a fairly simple way of doing it in EQ itself. Make a hotkey, something like this:

/nuke1 Draught of Jemima
/pause 10
/nuke2 Draught of Pancakes
/pause 10
/myfamiliar 305

That will change your two nukes on the fly, and your familiar with the press of a button while the macro is running.

Lastly, for draught of e`ci, you type draught of e`ci (tilde key)
