I'm sure it says something a lot like "Hi, I'm a friendly error message, but you can't see me because THE WHOLE POINT OF THE GUY'S POST WAS THAT MQ2Chat and MQ2ChatWnd DON'T WORK!!!!11!"
/offtopic
Everyone can be wrong, the point of his post wasn't that clear to me. What is the point of yours anyway?
If you could use your knowledge to answer that post of mine
http://www.macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9601 instead, it would be cooler.

in MQ2ChatWnd.ini
Code: Select all
[ServerNameHere.]
ChatTop=10
ChatBottom=210
ChatLeft=10
ChatRight=410
Locked=0
WindowTitle=MQ
Fades=1
Delay=1
Duration=500
Alpha=255
FadeToAlpha=255
BGType=1
BGTint.red=255
BGTint.green=255
BGTint.blue=255
FontSize=4
Specifically these 4 lines:
Code: Select all
ChatTop=10
ChatBottom=210
ChatLeft=10
ChatRight=410
Fix those and you should be fine.

Yeah, no INI it sounds like the plugin's not getting loaded at all. My guess is you're doing something way wrong with the compile, or you have a virus scanner, other hack util, or somesuch that's blocking the injector. <shrug> Really hard to say.
