ran this for about 45 minutes and the faction with the merchanti needed did not change - does this not affect the merchant Lander Furthers?

Illia's does not list what (if any) faction he is on... After 45 minutes, though, it'd be very safe to say, no, this does not affect his faction.

Only problem I had was when repeating it was so fast that the door in Steaon's room was still open. So it'd try to open it and then run into it. I just bumped the delay up after talking to him to 5s and now it works great! :)

So has anyone modified this for other faction quests?

There are 4 factions in SH, Traders of the Haven (most of the merchants, including Steaon), House of Fordel (the royals, the guards, and some others), House of Midst (most of the rest of SH, including the NPCs in the northern section (magic users and monks)), and House of Stout (the shorties area). Steaon's deliveries quest raises your Traders of the Haven faction fairly fast, but the faction hits for the other factions are MUCH smaller.

Go to Illia's:
http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/

and check out the quests available for the various "House" factions. I haven't done it in a while, but I think the slightly longer "Amulet of the Haven" quest which gets you the faction adjusting neck piece, raises the other factions much more than Steaon's quest does. You can just do the first part (SH to Baz and back), and also a quest from the shorties area (it's a smithing vendor, forget details), combined with the Steaon quest. Pick up three quest bits in SH, go to baz, deliver 3 quest bits to 3 NPCs, back to SH, rinse and repeat. IIRC, "House of Midst" faction is the hardest to raise.

I am having trouble with this in one small spot. It seems my char wont open doors, it targets the door, the myself. and doesnt open it. The it just backs up and walks into the corner over and over.

I have the latest advpath.inc, advpath2.inc and advpath.txt.

after I click the doors maunlly and pause the macro and go outside the doors, it works great.

any suggestions?

edit:figured it out.. hve to be in 1st person view.

aChallenge would it be possible to request an 'update' to your current locations to the "PathFile_Door_To_Bazaar"/ "Gearo_To_SH"?

Thank you for your time, been trolling here for a while but love the macro however the obstacles in the way can be a pain. :(
