Ok just test it out for yourself then, get a spell like Divine Aura that has a huge re cast time, wait until the spell refreshes, have the cast routine cast the spell for you then another spell after that and watch what happens.

Will this code work under the new UI?

I play a magician, and this would be a major benefit to me as everytime I log in, I have to reload about 8 summon item spells, resummon various items, and reload my "default" spell lineup.

I am going to see if I can toss this in grimjack's shaman bot. been looking for a way to make a bot mem new spells... I really would like to find out how to send command to mem the new spell set feature in EQ. Ill give this a whirl though and post how it goez.

Wax -- I wouldn't recommend doing that at this time. Plaz and EqMule have implemented functions far better than the old routine of clicks. Watch for it in an upcoming CVS update. (Hint hint dkaa. )

Of course, we still don't have a /forget gemnumber command. I bet that's in the works, though. Maybe I'll take a look at it when I figure all this stuff out.

Theres a post in the macro help forum about the shaman.mac from grimjack.

He has responded saying look at the wiz with port ability macro. It has spell memorization in it.

Basically use the spell sets. The biggest thing about a shaman is that you need several spells memmed for every fight. Then a couple for short duration buffs. When playing my shaman I usually have 2 slots for short duration buffs, and then mem the long duration spells when its buff time again.

The bad part is. I dont remember all the spells unless im looking at the shaman spell book
