well, can someone at least help me with my second problem, i run vbs and i installed sp6 or i think i did when i tried installing it, it said it couldnt open msrdo20.dll, but it still went on with the install and finished so i gathered it was completed successfully. my real problem is i cant find the build menu like the manual says can anyone tell me where i can find it? i dont want to go through the vs.net thing again

Yeah, to tell you the truth. I for some reason (with curruption errors and stuff like that), I sometimes resort to normal Windows Extraction. Otherwise WinZip all the way. Can't stand WinRar
