Well according the X,Y variables it should be top left corner and should work in windowed or fullscreen.

Just check with F10, still nothing there.

Code: Select all

[Elements]
     GMIndicator=3,5,35,255,255,0,GM - ${Spawn[gm]}
Try that only in your mq2hud.ini in /release folder. I have 5 MQ2HUD files in my /release folder. The above works fine for me.

Alright, I dunno what's up....

I just tried:

Code: Select all

[Elements]
     GMIndicator=3,5,35,255,255,0,HELLO
No luck. Tried what you posted as well. I closed out EQ. Close MQ. Restarted MQ, EQ, tried loading plugin again, says it's load.... still nothing.

Ok

If I type /hud normal

I can't get it to show at all.

/hud always

Now it shows, but UNDER my UIs.

IS this right?

04 May 2004 by Lax:
- New command
Usage: /hud <normal|underui|always>
* "Normal" will make the HUD display as it would normally on top of UI, not at char select
or in "f10 mode"
Either I'm interrpretting it wrong, or normal mode isn't working correctly for me.

Can you see your "lag meter" ??

If not turn it on with f11. In normal Mode you can't see the Hud data unless you have the lag meter on too via f11

ok. heres your problem, i did the same damned thing. you opened a new document in notepad, and saved it as 'mq2hud.ini;... well, that's where you screwed up, using notepad. it will save it as mq2hud.ini.txt and not show the .txt part because its a hidden filename suffix in windows by default. you can't renmae it to blah in windows easily by right clicking. open up the command prompet (go to the start menu -> run, type in command , hit enter and go to your macroquest release directory. (ie; 'cd \mq2\release' ) then type in 'ren mq2hud.ini.txt mq2hud.ini' .

done. you can send me a donation via paypal if ya want =p. (j/k)

and it that dont work its because the filename was too long, so go back into explorer, go to the directory and rename macroquest.ini (as a text file) to blah... it will stay a text file... then go back to the command prompt and type 'ren blah mq2hud.ini'

booya, youre done. if that don't work for you idfc and youre ignorant of computers, and should have someone else do it for you

Hope you weren't talking to me, cause those were old posts, and you were wrong anyhow. I never pressed F11, cause I never previously cared about the ping meter.

I like your attempt of flaming. Hmm. Yes. Shove up it your ass.

Ok Question with this

Code: Select all

Time=3,945,215,255,255,255,Time: ${Time.Hour}:${Time.Minute}
is there a way to make it show the Zero in the time as in 12:01 it shows
12:1 is there is a way to fix that?

I use this one

Code: Select all

 GameTime=3,5,35,255,255,255,GameTime - ${GameTime} - ${If[${String[${GameTime.Night}].Equal["TRUE"]},Night Time,]}${If[${String[${GameTime.Night}].NotEqual["TRUE"]},Day Time,]} - RealTime: ${Time.Time24}

Simple file example:

Code: Select all

[Elements]
Hello=3,10,10,255,255,255,Hello
Will show the word Hello in white at 10,10 in full screen or windowed.

It's all explained in the readme.
