When there is a patch to Everquest check the forums to see if there has been a change to MacroQuest2.

I guess that isn't clear enough, so maybe I should change the wording to:

Updates to MacroQuest2
When there is a patch to MacroQuest2 don't come to the forums and make idiotic posts like:

stopped working

I'm getting an Incorrect Client Version error

MacroQuest2 stopped working

When eqgame.exe is patched, MacroQuest2 needs to be updated. This can take hours or days.

If you do come to the forums and post such questions/comments, you will be flamed, ridiculed, and insulted.

i am going to have to agree with lax on this one, a quick glimpse at the forums would have answered your question, these forums should be a daily stop for you :). as for flaming the devs, keep in mind they bring this code to you, open source at that. i can only imagine the time it took to start this work, with no offsets to base the general location of the new one`s off of. if every person who posted a "date is incorect" question here donated 20 dollars, at patch time that would feed the dev`s a couple pizza`s, and hell some days it will evin make a car payment

. and make it worth there time to actualy find the offsets.

I dont think this dude is arguing his errors.. some people are just overly shocked by the harshness and delivery of the message. And a lot of this may seem normal to us, but to an outsider, it can be shocking. Its all part of the online situation that promotes this blurring of things.

For example.. today some jackass tard showed up at my desk with some changes he needs done for some DNS.. He didnt have the right forms filled out, didnt know the process. mis-quoted shit to the customer, and in the truth of it.. its not my deal to do DNS anyway. So what I did was educate him quick.. and hook him up with all the info he should of found himself if he had gotten off his ass and search our intranet site for.

But what I SHOULD of done was beeat him within a fucking inch of his life.. and belittled him to make an example to the other 44 fucktards so they dont repeat his errors. But.. You would go to jail for that shit...
..
And if you treated people in RL like we do on these boards at times.. you would get your ass handed to you.. np.

Yeah, first I'd like to point out that: Not everybody uses forums all the time and isn't as intelligent as everyone else. We ALL know that posts like this will happen every time the game is patched, so why are we all fretting?

Now Lowboy....I am gonna say that you should read the manual BEFORE you ask a question, and try your best to read the forums. If you post a question that has been asked a couple times, no big deal....but if it's repeated every 3 days (like this one), then of course people are gonna have fun. And that's mainly what it is....FUN. People, in general, enjoy making other people feel like shit. It puts them on a pedestool (sp?) above you and makes them feel better about their small, crooked, shrivelled penises. But oh well....boys will always be boys.

I hope the dev team can get a new version out soon.....It's wicked frustrating trying to play 5 toons at once LOL.

Oh, and I loved the IQ test lol.....my IQ was 136 and I'm a Visionary Philosopher. Enjoy ))

First.. everything is answered in the readme.
Two: if you can't read this forum at least once a day ... you need more free time.

three: Lax and the others work their asses off for us and they put up with crap like your insults. Ask a stupid question expect a stupid response. You got a stupid response.

I treat people like that irl just like Oid. It's called being blunt. People remember it more that way. I'd rather they remember how said problem is solved and have them call me an asshole.
