If it relies on being able to buy and sell from across the zone, without physically moving to the trader/vendor, then no, don't post it.

If it relies on an ini file to decide what to buy and sell, post it without the ini file. Let people figure out what makes a profit and what doesn't on their own.

If it's hard coded in... tough call. Depends on how you did it, and I'd have to see the code first.

And I'm sorry if I came across as saying "let's have a post it all free for all." No, you shouldn't feel obligated to give in to every request. If script kiddies aren't making the effort to learn and contribute they can go someplace else. But as long as someone is making an effort to learn we should help them.

On that note, do NOT come here thinking people are gonna take up their time to hand you the macros for X exploit. Work on learning the language and get started, and I'm sure someone will help you iron out the bugs.

I dunno if i speak Only for Myself or not.. but I took Programming back in high school (like 10 years Ago) and learned The old school Coding Of Basic And Qbasic. Then i Fell Out of The Programming scene and found i Werked better with the hardware Side of Computers.. Now This basic background Allows me The Ability to pretty Much read code in any Language And Get a basic knowledge of what it Does And how it Werks. It also allows Me To play around with The code (only Minute Pieces of it Mind you) to try And debug it or adjust certain Aspects of it.. I had To fix the necrofarm.mac code As it Would Just sit There and find A Target, Take 2 steps stop And Start Calling The Cast subroutine, leave it and call it again.. over and over again At hyperspeeds.. I Found That it Was basically a matter of removing The nopredict from all The Distance lines.. then it Werked Like A Charm.. But As well As i Can Read Them i really don't know ANYTHING about Making Them.. I am strictly Reliant upon The generosity of Others in this wonderful forum to help Me Out when i need it.. As i Said.. I Can Read Em.. just Can't write em.. Though i know i'm only A (now) 2 poster I have been reading the Forums for A While now.. and find Many helpful Things along The way.. BTW Snaps go out To the Person or Persons that created The new Necrofarm.mac As They ended up doing The same thing i did And Added in The Medding spot feature of The macro.. I typically use this to farm silks in EK for My advancement into Tailoring Woot! 5th shawl here i Come!
Just My 2cp worth.
Don't hate Me cuz I'm beautiful.. I Can give you MUCH better reasons Than That....

Noone Likes A necro... till Mid-battle And They're OOM..

To Kaitiain & McKorr:

Thank you for the "open source" policy...This is the first time that I have posted...(first time poster lol) however, the reason that I have never posted before is because I have Read the manual, viewed other peps codes, tested, tweaked, trial and error till my brain can't take it anymore... The reason that I say thank you is because you guys have got it right. I understand that newb hounding gets old and annoying, but weren't "You" a newb once. Didn't you learn from forums like this, and school or what ever else... Anyway, my point is, we do not become more knoledgeable with out a working (hands on) environement. At least I don't. So far... I have not had any problems with any macros, updates, etc. that I have tried from MQ. (Props to the devs btw) Could be me, or luck or what ever... But I do know that if I didn't have other's codes to work from and test, try and see how they worked, there is no way that I would able to be doing what I am doing now. Thanks guys for your warm welcome to the newbies. I really appriciate it. And I am not affraid to say THANK YOU!
