MQ2 : No ingame response

Make sure you followed the compile instructions. If you have no idea what "mq2auth" is, go back and read the link you missed on the download page that is gigantic and bold, and has red words before it.

If this is caused by a path name, I'm doing an update shortly that should fix that problem.

I read the compile instructions and had no problem with the compile/build, it runs ok but none of the features are there that i can see except i know its running because /face works.

If I type /plugin list i get no response (for example).

I also made sure to run the mq2auth before compile.

(it wont even compil on my xp box but one thing at a time, this is on Win2k).

Load MQ2Chat plugin.

If your Win2K box is generating Win95 compatable filenames, there could be a . in the shortname. Try moving the MQ folder to your root directory and running it from there.

I tried the new .zip and now get the following error on the batchbuild:

You must be referring to the bit about distributing compiled versions, i can see no other text above that link, what does that have to do with my batchbuild problem? am genuinely puzzled by that remark, did you mispost??

I cant even get mq2 running for myself, never mind anyone else /sigh

Anyone with the problem of MQ2 not responding, you need to compile the plugin for them to load. Follow the compile instructions (not just half of them) and you wouldnt have this problem
