Oddly enough, this Macro doesn't work at all for me. But I think I might know why:

When I run it, it selects Granger in shadowhaven, opens up shop window, buys a bunch of milk and a bunch of Rennet. Then it says "can't find Mature Cheese" and "can't find Dairy Spoon" or something like that. Then it puts two unstacked milks in the mixing bowl, and one Rennet, then errors up then quits.

Granger, at least the Granger on Fennin Ro, does not sell Mature Cheese nor does he sell Diary Spoons. Maybe that's what's screwing the macro up, does the macro assume he is selling these things?

Is there anywhere else I can go to find a merchant who sells all of these things? Who else in shadowhaven sells what Granger is missing? Worst Case Scenario, I can always buy a shitload of what Granger is missing, sell it all to Granger, and go get some more, and keep doing that until Granger has like a million of everything needed, THEN run the macro. So if all else fails, who else in Shadowhaven sells Mature Cheese and/or Dairy Spoons?

Thanks in advance,

1. Dairy spoons are a smithed item, you only need 1.
2. Granger is the only merchant in the game that sells Rennet.

Ahh I understand now, and let me guess, Mature Cheese is what these ingrediants make, right?

Yes I can be a moron sometimes. Ok, I just had a friend smith me a spoon, and now I'm going to run the macro and see what happens, wish me luck.

Salutations,
I updated cheese.mac again.
  • Empty Pack is called 30 times, with a delay (seemed to fix some problems i had with that)
Optional Log off feature (changes syntax. /macro cheese.mac 36000 will make the macro go for 1 hour then log off, /macro cheese.mac will have the macro go forever.)
Takes advantage of the /filter skills option, filtering out the skill spamming messages.
    Speed improved slightly.

Salutations,
This should speed it up again, the /call cleanpack had been slowed down alot when i added the delays to keep it working, apparently that hadn't been the problem (though it fixed it some) It should work now with /call cleanup back to its normal speed.

When you make updates, you are editing the very first post by you in the (code) part right?

Also, is this the most advanced cheese.mac? What about Plazmics new one that uses events he released with the MQ release on the 19th?

Salutations,
Didn't know he updated it in 0619, next release will include those changes. Been editing the one from the 0615. I edit the one in the first post.

'nother update

Post by L124RD » Thu Jun 20, 2002 3:17 pm

Salutations,
It now checks to see if you've bought the item now using the sub from Plazmic's 20020619 release. I would've put the fail and succeed into the macro as well, but i was doing basically the same thing and i didn't want to place more subroutines into the macro to do what i was already doing (except if it made it simpler like if i had typed out the code in buyitem for every time i needed it). Enjoy!

Salutations,
Don't think of it as a loss... think of it as a sacrifice for the team, though if you sacrifice it i guess you did lose it... stupid logic...

Salutations,
updated the macro again... Changed it to use the /call buyitem when selling to (the subroutine only checks if your money has changed, so it works perfect for this case)

Salutations,
I've updated the macro once again, this time I added delays into CleanPack (removing the need supposedly for the repeated looping of it, but i kept the loop in anyway.) Hope this helps some of you who can't get cheese.mac working.
