Hmmm... Wonder if this is some kind of thing people will use to exploit their way to a mob.

magelo has one person that seems to do it all (jelan) it takes often a week for magelo to do what the mq team does in minutes/hours. that is the benefit of opensource, someone is sure to fix it, and post the fix (cause they can).
but.. its still a good service for little money, i just wish they would fix as fast as mq.
(make the mq client opensource, but make the web service cost, and hope that people are supportive enough)
warping...

Sounds like you have a warping offset by accident there.

that... or SoE changed it to do that deliberatley and added in a flag to let you know they caught you...
either way /face dosent sound very fun atm. Id say be careful to those that are trying the offsets out as they become avail.

most likely one of the heading fields that /face used are now swapped with speed z or something like that.

Hmmm, I think SoE would have higher priorities than flagging the use of /face.... this is just a strange consiquence of the structure changes.
I'm pretty shocked that we can login at all with MQ at the moment.

You can log in with MQ? I crash every time I try to log in with it running.

It seems when doing /face, it warps you to certain parts places and then screws up your loc. The loc will be 0, something, 0. Then the first number seems to count up/down in very small increments. You can get stuck into walls and the only way it seems to get out is to camp, port, or get on a horse. When sitting, you spin
I haven't tried to see if it messes up the pet warrior mac because I am terrified to start fighting and then have him move all over the zone!
The follow macro of course isn't working because of the /face thing.
Beware!
EDIT: Also, it messes up the Character Selection screen characters.

How to find correct offsets I do not know, but I do know /loc is crashing me

I did a face and found myself launched up into the sky I gated and then found myself plumitting to the ground. I then gated again and fell for 20k dmg .... i'd say they've done something . I quickly camped and left.

Same problem here with /face yesterday, downloaded the new "IRC-Latest.zip" and now EQ crashes when I leave server select screen, and from anywhere before entering the gameworld if I turn MQ on during the log in.
