/click left item still crashes me. I added your modification to the ground spawn and re-compiled, still busted. Its fairly easy for me to get around just by having the env container open when I start the script though :)

fryfrog: does /items work for you?

/itemtarget, /items and /face item all work fine for me. /items returns a list of all the items (in the zone?) and their direction. /itemtarget gets the nearest one or the one i specify (i think?). /face item turns me tward it, like there was anything else i thought it would do.

/click left item dumps me with

Code: Select all

The instruction at "0x004add31" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
The only customization i have done to the source was change the maxstack variable from 10 to 30. I should compile a version with it set to 10, but i'm pretty lazy before i goto bed :)

/click left item broken here as well.

I'm in the same boat as fryfrog, but I'm using an unchanged version. Either from CVS or from the downloads, I'm crashing to desktop when I issue the command: /click left item
/click left auto works though.

I've noticed one thing in the last few days. I have the latest CVS and offsets, but when I do the /finditem command when I am riding a horse, EQ crashes every time. But if I click off the horse, problem solved. I have can't seem to find any of the problems, specified here but it might be the darn horses change something.

Still having trouble with /click left item (usage crashes me to desktop). I downloaded everything from CVS again after cleaning out my MQ directory. In theory I've got a clean copy that's all up to date.

I compile with VC6...not sure if that might make a difference...? I also use EQW if that might impact things.

All of my other /click commands work.

Don't do that. If you have the wrong offsets, YOU HAVE THE WRONG OFFSETS.

Get the right ones.

thouse of us who live in states that DO NOT do daylights savings time... have to manually adjust the date of the client...

that is why this time of year you get the influx of "Incorrect client version" as opposed to other times of the year.
