On the contrary, I don't use ShowEQ, yet I was able to target A Mystic Voice and other Luclin NPC's at various spires quite awhile before MQ was released... it's actually easy. One way I used to do it is grab a No Drop item, and stand at the spires in NK clicking all over the place, eventually it would open a trade window with Norrath Scion or A Mystic Voice etc, then I just click cancel and have em targetted. Easy as that. The other way was to be in Nexus, and I noticed while waiting on a norrath portal, if you walk near the center, there's a bump. Almost like an invisible gnome is sitting there. Just stand back a bit, hold a No Drop item, and try handing it to the invisible bump, then click cancel on the trade, (or click accept, doesn't matter)... if you cancel it, you have em targetted... or if you want to confuse people, click trade. You will get your item back and see "A Mystic Voice says, 'I have no need for this item YourCharName, you can have it back.'" Using that last one is fun to confuse nearby people.

And if you get yelled at for doing THAT, then screw them, they should make those things tradeable.

heh, wouldn't that be some crazy shit if one day someone found a hidden easter egg by a programmer with a sense of humor relating to a secret quest worth lots and lots of exp by handing some easy-to-obtain No Drop item to one of those invis NPCs.

Have you noticed all the "rare" mobs (at least the ones in stormbrunt mountins/and some other zones) are prefaced with #?
