As in my post, you should generally allocate 512 per session. 2 sessions at 768 is pushing it, but doable. 1.2 and up is about where 3 sessions become feasable.Leffe wrote:ahh ok.... gonna have to run down to the hardware store then :?
are you referring to the program autofire?themowgli wrote:The reason I asked, was because I used a ranger autofire/forage bot that only worked on the screen that I was curently in. So, if I ran the bot on the ranger, but opened up Internet Explorer to go look up a recipe on EQTC, the bot would go to the EQTC window and stop working.
If you turn all the video options down, you can get 6 on that machine, I've done it on mine, about the same specs.SiatX wrote:I run 4 toons on 1 box, 3.0Ghz, 2Gb ram, 256mb vid card. On WinEQ2 I've noticed some bleedovers, but nothing to the extent that is has bothered me. Trying to run a fifth toon just pops up a "Cant load another 3d session because there are no more video memory" hehe.
Unless your going to drop 4-5k on a pc your not going to run 5 toons with full options. And even with that price tag.. I think you will lagNight Hawk wrote:Or..... you could go out and get a decent computer, and not have to worry about turning off any options
WinEQ2 Preferences->EverQuest->General->Hide memory warnings: ONSiatX wrote:Trying to run a fifth toon just pops up a "Cant load another 3d session because there are no more video memory" hehe.
No, that's not a warning.. that's a flat out fatal error. With no video memory remaining, you cant open another session, which is what the box pops up and says when he tries. Sure, he could hide the warnings that show up in text in the game, but will never be able to run another sessiongimp wrote:WinEQ2 Preferences->EverQuest->General->Hide memory warnings: ONSiatX wrote:Trying to run a fifth toon just pops up a "Cant load another 3d session because there are no more video memory" hehe.
