The xylobot trace.txt is just like a spew file for debugging. It should only be found in the root dir (usually c:)

i just wanna say i don't have it *thank god* and i have no idea what it could be from.

I just installed and updated PooP and I don't have the file, I also use EQW. Not that this really helps you any. You could check on the station msg boards... god knows I couldn't find anything helpful there, but you might. I would probably ask about it there, can't get in too much trouble for asking... I hope.

I've got the same trace file... added 7/19/02. This really bugs me considering I reformated my HD on the tenth and had only installed the EQ (trillogy + luclin), EQW, and MQ. Other than that I haven't DL'ed any files that could have a trojan.

i think its from eq because i've reformatted my harddrive before only installing it and the file being there

anyone used magelo's software? Not sire how it works, but might be from them?

as far as the file goes, i deleted it, and it hasnt come back since.
Im thinking maybe its from EQw, which bugs me a little bit

Perhaps you didn't DL EQW from the EQW home page?

I remember reading about this trace.txt a looong time ago, before PoP which is around when this would have been used. From what I remember the general conclusion was that is does nothing, and that it's an obsolite piece of EQ
